Oof, you're going to have a hard time finding decent sounding free VSTs for rock/metal. That said, here are some free ones I know of, most of which I picked off (definitely not an exhaustive list): Guitars (imo your best bet is going to be find one with a clean sound that you can apply your own amp effects to) • — can be a little confusing to use, but it's definitely a better sound than FL Slayer • — never used it myself so I can't vouch for its quality. DSK has some other nice free VSTs though. I know you said you're in the market for free instruments, but if you don't mind dropping some Cash Money™ in the future for a higher quality sound, I highly recommend Shreddage instruments. Shreddage 2/IBZ and Shreddage Drums are compatible with the free Kontakt player, while Shreddage Bass sounds good, but needs the full version of Kontakt if you want to use it outside of demo mode. I second this! Shreddage 2/Shreddage Bass is awesome. Ebook Manajemen Pemasaran Philip Kotler Books.
And for all those Yuzuki's out there, it includes an amp/cab sim pa~ackage (a limited version of Revalver) which people who know what they're doing can get some su~uper convincing sound from. It took me a few months to realize I had it ^_^ ~K. I'd recommend using GR5 only for, well, rigging. Adding few pedals is really nice but at least their cabinets are mostly horrible, which I replace with Line 6, Ampire or ReCabinet. It does do better than most freeware cabinets though. Do you have any other options for 'Reamping'?
Not at this time. I don't really have a high priority for music w/e.guitars in them, but i really need a better acoustic guitar and wanted to see if i could just use what i had since my gr5 came with komplete. If it's not worth it i'll probably just pick up an acoustic guitar and shreddage unless there's a better way to do it. @yuzuki If you want a good sounding set of amp plugins, I highly recommend the combination of Poulin amp sims, Poulin LeCab, and the Rosen Digital impulse responses (for x64 get NadIR).
Download a pack with royalty free drum samples in 16-bit. 673 free Samples drum kit. That’s already included in FL Studio. Isn’t there any realistic drum.
You only pay as little as $ 20 $40 USD (sorry, I screwed up. Has pretty great free plugins. Getzen Valve Trombone Serial Numbers. Its amps seem pretty good for rock and metal (can work with other genres too), and NadIR is as good an option as any if you want to load your own cab impulses (as BaronLumi recommended above). Everything else I've used seems pretty decent too. IMO Guitar Rig cabinets aren't bad. Not amazing, but they will still do the job when you just need a cabinet.
