This problem occurs on all HP 10xx laser printers. Even under Linux OS. The problem is with the drivers where HP refuses to release a patch for it. Perhaps later on, but I don't think so. The drivers that comes with this printer for Vista OS is not really for that printer, it for an other printer model that HP sells, that somehow, 'works' with that printer. Those -fake drivers- (as I like to call it) offers you EXTREME basic functionality (as it's not design for that printer). In other words if you use Notepad (or almost) to print, your good. Borderlands 2 Psycho Dlc Ps3 Torrent. Once you do something slightly more complex, the printer firmware mixes it self up, and 'freezes' to that error message that you see. The only trick is to close your printer wait 3sec and turn it back on, and re-print your work. OR Just turn on your printer when you need it, and close it when you are done. (Saves you paper, trees, and ink that way, as you won't see printing the error message) If A LOT of people got that printer, and most of them switch to Vista, and can't live with the issue, you might find hackers making there own drivers for it, or a fix for the issue.
Just search really good, and be prepared to screw your windows in case it's a real fake, virus, damage your files or your computer. I did that for my Nforce 2 Motherboard, so that my SoundStorm (no more supported by Nvidia) works under Vista. And it somewhat works, sometimes you got to reboot, buy Hey! It's sound on your computer. In my case, it's not worth buying a sound card, as I'll do a full upgrade and if PCI-E sound cards, or better sound cards comes out.
I'll be able to get it. Oh yea, also thanks to Microsoft making a beta version of the OS publicly available, it will be a less of a surprise when you get Vista. Now you know 2 things: - If your panning on an upgrade on your computer, wait until Mid-2007 so that every company gets adjusted with it.* - Don't get new computer things when a new OS is coming soon. *Don't worry, I got the same printer as you.:) Now I know to save up and prepare to get a new (again) printer if there is no fix or gets really annoying.

You should see your printer printing! I've had some luck. The HP LaserJet 1015 driver included with Vista RTM seemed to work okay. Most documents would print. However, items from Microsoft Office would display 'Unsupported Personality: PCL' I went to HP's site, and looked for the HP LaserJet 1012 driver for Vista. It isn't available.
