This virtual gathering, supplemented with pre-recorded material, aims to deliver a complete and comprehensive study of centuries old traditional Arabic sciences. Due to overwhelming demand, registration will be capped to a limited number of seats. In order to maintain quality teacher-student interaction, 50 seats are being allocated for the distance learning program. Distance Learning Program - Registration Window Registration commences January 3, 2008 and will ramain open a full one week after the start-date. Distance Learning Program - Class Timings Classes will be broadcast live from our Toronto venue and will be scheduled as follows: Start-date: Saturday March 22, 2008 There will be two weekend sessions each week and each session will run for approximately 2.5 hours, in addition to one 1.5 hour session exclusively for online students offered on Wednesday evenings ( 2 Sessions - 2.5 Hours/Session + 1 Session - 1.5 Hours) Saturday morning: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm (EST) Sunday morning: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm (EST) Wednesday evening: 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm (EST) Timings are in Eastern Standard Time. All efforts are being made to accommodate students who live in different time zones across North America. There will be breaks throughout the class for prayers etc. Class Fees Regular Class Fees: US $100/month, total program cost for first semmester $200 + $65 for textbooks and class materials. To secure a seat, a non-refundable deposit of US $50 will be required upon registration. This deposit will be applied against your total class fees. In addition to this non-refundable deposit, an additional $50 (beginners package) is required for the mailout package + shipping costs ($15).
Thus a payment of US $115 is required up front. Full payment will be required after the first week of classes at which point there will be no refund issued. Register early to secure a seat!
